Default How do I tell what I have? Older cart with upgrades.

So I recently traded for some old ezgo carts 84 model. I decided to fix up one that had Been upgraded to solid state like my old 94 model that cratered had. Upon inspection I noticed the solenoid is a lot bigger than what's on my old 94 model. Bigger wires also. Controller looks the same. I didn't think a lot of it until I got it running. I added some 22" tires. With 550# of passengers it takes small hills easily, runs a good 14-15 mph. I pointed it up a steep dirt ditch that would have stalled out my old cart and it would have climbed it had I not chickened out.
Is it possible the controller is upgraded? How might I check? The parts have been in there a long time and it didn't have batteries on it so I'm not sure if it may be capable of 48 volts or the solenoid just got swamped.

Can you see any ID tags or plates on controller / motor / solenoid? Otherwise I think we're just guessing. Controller can look nearly the same externally yet be built to different specs, numbers would help determine that. But, even if it is the same model controller you had in the other cart performance could be quite different with the heavier cables and solenoid. Even the stock motors can be capable of more performance if you can feed them more power (with those bigger cables and solenoid).
