Runs 10 minutes then shuts off, wait 5 then runs again...

Ok I have a similar problem. The tuffer terrain the quicker it shuts down So what doo I need to do to remedy

You are stressing your batteries with a heavier load. Turning tires, especially big ones, in tough environments will kill them faster. But, the way to get the most out of your buggy is to run the largest wire possible from battery to battery and from there to controller then from controller to motor. I run 4 ga wire on all batteries and 1/0 wire from controller to motor. I went from a few minutes to hours now with this setup. If you've done this then larger heat sink and fan can help but a new, high performance controller will be the next step for monster torque or speed or run time.

I seem to be having a similar problem. I have a 1986 ezgo with robin 2 stroke. I have replaced everything and the golf cart will run 10-15 minutes and then shut off for 5 minutes or so before it will start back up again. Any suggestions would be great thanks

It's not good, referring to an ELEVEN years old thread with a gas cart in the electric section!
