Default Where does the 12v come from?

What is the 12v source for the light switch on a 2006 Precedent IQ? The reason that I am asking is that I'm in the process of adding a converter. I was thinking about getting all of my 12v accessories, including the lights, wired up to it until I read a few posts about memory wires on some head units. In my case that won't be an issue as I'm adding an amp for ipod to connect to and no head unit but I also have an alarm system on the cart and it will need an "always hot" source. My plan is to have the converter come on with the key so I guess I'm going to be running the alarm system off of the #4 (4/12 system) battery. I'm guessing, looking at the small size of the wire powering the alarm, that the draw should be VERY minimal. Anyone think I'll have a problem with this setup?

Your lights get the 12v feed from battery #4 pos post. There should be a blue pigtail. The negative is connected to your controllers B- via the bucket harness. Since you will hook up multiple items to your converter I would recommend wiring the positive out in the converter to a fuse panel and make sure you get a 25amp converter so you have headroom. And as always, never ground anything to the frame.
