What would cause the wire from solenoid to motor port A2 be very hot to melt wire? plus i have noticed at full speed it feels like it starts to pull back or sputter in speed?

Re: Wire very hot to A2 port on motor
possible, but like i said in most cases its loose or loose/dirty.... your speed might have been from wire for some reason coming loose and effecting speed until it just melted............................

Re: Wire very hot to A2 port on motor
The wire itself could be a problem. You need to use welding cable. It's much better for your application. However, you should also read my response to this same question in your other thread. This is a duplicate post.

Re: Wire very hot to A2 port on motor
Talk to ScottyB about making you some cables from either 2 or 4 gauge welding cables. He solders all of the ends and never crimps. Crimping isn't near as good as the solder joints.
