They look a lot taller than my SS112 with 215/40 12's. My 12's in chrome cost me enough already. I do envy those 14" wheels though.

Thanks man, they are almost 20 inches tall.

Gonna go with a satin black and rust colored seats. Got a trunklid for it too but gotta work out the hinges. Also got a stainless sport windshield that matches the seat supports.

I was thinking the same thing on windsheild. I like that no roof low windsheild look for street racers. I am getting a new 72 volt controller in a few days and may build another cart like yours just for speed and leave the one I have now for the wife and kids. Time to start hunting craigslist again.

Eventually this one will be on 72v after I get bored with the 48v. Looking for some 8:1 gears right now. What controller are you getting? I want the 72v SPM Alltrax 600 amp.

I just ordered the SPM72400 from EV drives. It was only a few bucks more than the SPM48500 and I talked with Alltrax and they said what I use my cart for riding on streets, some mostly flat fields and the occasional climb into my truck bed the 400amp would be more than enough. Plus they say the SPM ones are more powerfull than the old AXE ones. My SPM72400 is will give 460 amps peak, more than enough for my use. I figured if I get the 72 volt now I am covered if I want to go higher later. I also made some 2gauge welding cable wires a while back so I am ready for anything now.

My freind looked at my wires and was like "Dang! Why do you need garden hoses for power cables?" I said at a few hundred amps who wants to take a chance.

Hehe, I hear that. Funny, my own cart is an old green, fleet cart. Hard to imagine what all this thing has seen.

So your going to paint this one? Not impressed with the wrap on the old one?
