Need a new lithium pack
I've been out of the game for about 1-2 years since my last lithium pack died. I need to get my cart back on the road and I'm sure a little bit has changed with the lithium packs available now. Last I was on, the better option was still the Nissan Leaf packs.
I'm running a 48v setup with AMD 7144, Alltrax XCT500A, HD 400A Solenoid and 2g Cables. Can anyone tell me what the best 'bang-for-the-buck' lithium pack is right now in the 80-120AH range? I'll need a charge controller and charger with the pack. I'm willing to pay a little extra for something plug-n-play and ready to drop-in (I realize the lithium packs are not completely drop-in\turn-key). Links to listings or websites would be awesome (feel free to DM me if public postings of this are not allowed). THANK YOU THANK YOU!! |

Re: Need a new lithium pack
The most popular are the Leaf packs, RoyPow, and Chevy Volt packs. Only the RoyPow is plug-n-play...mostly. The others will require some work. Sure seems from the posts that all are working well.

Re: Need a new lithium pack
I just ordered these batteries to replace my Leaf batteries. With the proper BMS these will be as close to drop in as you can get w/o the high price. Drawback: It takes up to 90 days to get.
