Default 2 questions Oil and torque spring

1st what kind of oil goes into a G9

2nd How hard is it to put in that torque spring on the clutch.. anything special needed to do it.. I am in the middle of repainting and everything is off

That's opening up Pandora's box! Yamaha G9 owners manual says 10W30 and thats what I use in Central Texas. Use a good quality oil,I like Castrol for these little engines. There are those that swear by synthetic and thats fine. With no oil filter on these I prefer to just change more often, every 100 hours or so, not the 250 like Yamaha says.

Medium hard job. See Spriddles "sticky" under Yamaha Gas in main menu, it will tell you all you need to know!
