Whens the last time you disassembled and thoroughly cleaned your carb?

Search is your friend... usually people say that AFTER people post a new post with a question... but I wanted to thank Lockman for posting up the directions... I really dont have far to drive back and forth and was a little worried that the cart would never get "warmed up" and circulating oil well enough... this was exactly what the DR ordered... :)

This mod also worked great on my 2008 carryall turf 1. My cart also has a toggle switch for maintenance mode which I moved and drilled through below seat so I can also idle or rev the motor in neutral for when my winch is being used.

I bought the kit. But when I installed the spring I had to rev the engine and get a jolt to take off. After a while I put the stock spring back in and left the key start. I now can idle and get smooth take offs.

Thumbs up re: Lockman1's DS idle setup?

Just wanted to verify for anyone that on a 91 it is the black wire in the bottom of the black box. Disconnect for idle, or run a switch to toggle it.
Just got my cart about a week and a half ago, got bit by the bug to spruce it up before taking it down to the lake.
Works great, but i still have to mess with my idle speed a bit once it finishes warming up for the season. It tends to be a little to fast to not want to creep along.

How tough of a job is it to put the stronger spring in the clutch so you can idle at a higher speed? Now remember, I'm the guy that has been working at installing a lighting kit for the last week or so. LOL cueman
