Governor Trouble
I have the heavy duty driven clutch sping in my 98 Ezgo to help out with the lower end torque along with 22x11-10 mud tires to help get through some sticky situations. My governor was set from the factory and I felt that the cart was still to slow. Really it seemed like I was still going maybe the factory setting of 15mph.
I started to turn the governor spring 1/4" tighter and I was hitting the rev limiter on the flats of kansas. Turned the governor back down to the factory setting and it still doesn't act completly right. Has anybody out there had to tear into the governor located in the diff? The weights or spring ever broke? Just need some advice. The carb acts like it is shutting down properly. |
