Finally dumped that aluminum tray out of the RXV. Grabbed some steel and got my son to use his welding skills to fab up a new tray. We painted then installed.

Just installed 6 new trojan ranger 160's into my ezgo rxv [replacement of 4- 1260's]. Charging pack now for the inaugural voyage....at least I didn't weld myself in the process.

-Reconfigured filling system to work with 8v batteries (1/4 id 3/8 od tubing from Home Depot.

Just replaced these batteries. They would charge but didn't have the range. Hills would drop the pack voltage to 38.5 and the rxv doesn't like that... they had to go.

So, a smidgen over 6yrs of battery life? That's pretty good life out of them. Thanks for reporting back.
