We had good luck with the high speed motor's in G22's with the GE controller , as long as your not climbing hills. 22/23 mph. PS- Put the "run/tow switch" into tow and reroute those cables so you can get those gang cabs off for watering.

if you are going to keep the stock motor, nothing larger than 400a. all 6ga cables would need to be swapped out to 4ga cables.

You can always buy the 500 amp controller (Alltrax) and dial the max current down to 400 Amps while using the stock motor. Then if you upgrade your motor you have the option to up the amps later.

so I found these two different controllers. both are 400amp but they look completely different. the first one looks like the one I had on my old EZGO and the second one looks much different. which, if either, do you guys think would been a good fit to get more speed for the G22??

Flip up the rubber floor mat, find the pedal access cover below mat. Under the cover you will find a box & rod attached to gas pedal. The sensor is inside the box.
