Default Primary clutch puller

I need to replace the drive clutch in my G16. I dont have ttime to purchase the tool so can I just make one out of a rod and use a bolt to push it in? If so anyone know the sizes or is there another way to get the inner sheave out?

I bought a puller and it was a piece of junk after the first use. Wondering if anyone has retapped the hole to a standard size thread and made their own tool

Some spark plugs have the right size I have read, people knock them apart and make a bolt using the threaded part.

Spark plugs are same size but 1.25 pitch the clutch puller thread is 1.00 if a cheap clutch puller won't pop it off i wouldn't suggest cross threading a sparkplug in there

That would be bad! I don't know what clutches they were using them on but said the plug fit in correctly. if the threads are not right it will never pull anything.
