Reducer location?
I just got my voltage reducer from carts unlimited and plannon installing it this weekend. I have the Trojan 1275 setup and was planning on installing the reducer between the batteries. My only concern is the heat from the reducer on the battery tray. Will it work and if not where is the common area to mount the reducer? TIA.

Re: Reducer location?
Do you have 4x12v setup? If so, plopping the reducer in the center between the batteries is the perfect spot. The reducer gets hot but not that hot.

Re: Reducer location?
my reducer had mounting holes. I drilled a hole in the plate that hold the tow/run switch and screwed it to that. Its well ventilated there.
