Small fuel pump output on 3PG.
I have a 3PG ezgo from 1990. The fuel pump was working fine and the gas output was good. I replaced the crankshaft seals on my engine, and now there is very little gas pumping through it.
I have tried two different fuel pumps and there are no clogs in the gas line, which is new. This is a case mounted pump. What do I need to check for? Gas barely trickles out when I crank the cart. Thanks Luke Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Small fuel pump output on 3PG.
There is an O ring on the bottom of the pump, a plastic spacer, then a gasket to make everything airtight.
If you have all of that, it's time to check the seals again. They pop out with a backfire. You should also check to see if the rest of the engine is airtight. The case halves, and where the cylinder bolts on. |
