2008 RXV Gas Specs
Hi,
Does anyone have the specifications on the 2008 RXV gas cart? Can't seem to find anything anywhere. Considering buying one and wanted to see which kawasaki engine it had compared to the later models, maybe the same but don't know for sure. I just sold my 2008 RXV 48 volt (great cart) but need/want gas. Any reason to pass on the 2008 gas models? Thanks |

As far as I can tell that is the same Kawasaki engine in all 2008 to current RXV gas carts. Must be OK if they are still using it.

Lot of the 2008-09 carts had the Hitachi starter which in my opinion is a little weak for that 400cc single cylinder. My 08 would sometimes just stall trying to start and not spin. Had to either put it in neutral or spin the clutch by hand to get it past the compression stroke. They make a kit for them that includes a smaller pulley and that helps.. AMD is the new starter and has no problems.

No problems with mine at all. Just regular maintenance. It runs and pulls strong.
