Default F/R switch

I have an 86 marathon in trying to bring back to life The choke cable was sticking. After trying to work it back and forth, I tried to start it and nothing happened. No click, no nothing. When I put it in reverse, the buzzer is very faint. Could I have broken some thing in the switch from trying to force the choke cable back and forth. I was a little rough on it. I ended up bending the cable and had to order a new one.

Did it start before you were rough with it?

Might want to see if you're getting power to the switch under the gas peddle and go from there.

I would check the wire between the key switch, and the big lug on the solenoid. It should also have the big positive cable from the battery connected to it. That's where you are losing power.
That wire also has the fuse holder. I suspect that's where the damage is.

I think the fuse holder may also be mounted in the f/r switch housing. Look for the black knob center and down low if you don't see it in the wire cart is talking about. Ask how I know.
