Another Clutch Pull Question: 84 Marathon
I have TWO 2pg engines BOTH from 84 Marathon Carts. Was looking at getting/making a drive clutch puller tool and wanted to verify the bolt size (the consensus is 3/4 fine thread).
However, as I feel/scrape inside the hole in BOTH clutches, Neither Clutch seems to have any threads for the clutch puller. Both seem smooth. I have pulled lots of CC clutches, so I understand how this works, at least on a CC. What am I missing here? |

See if they have a plastic plug hiding the threads.

cart around is right. The plastic bushing hides in these and you can't see the threads. It sometimes comes off with bolt and other times it don't.
