g2 ignitor
mY 85 G2, run's fine at 1/2 or maybe 3/4 throttle.At full throttle it cut's out, no backfire, carb rebuilt. new plug. new gas.hook tester between plug and cap at full throttel it shorts out, is this my ignitor?

On a yamaha g2 there is an ignitor box and thats part of the rev limiter to do away with that you will need a ignitor,wiring harness and voltage regulator off a g-9
You should have posted this in the yamaha gas cart section you will get alot of great advice and great people enjoy |
