Default need help

my 85 g2 runs fine at 1/2 and 3/4 throttle. full throttle it dies till u let off connected a tester between spark plug and spark cap shows good spark untill full throttle then loses spark ,please help.thanx its a yamaha gas.

3 things I would look at. #1- The negative battery cable (at the starter/generator) has a 18 gauge wire "pigtailed" into the eye end, cut back the electrical tape, cut off the wire and put your own eye end and attatch it to the stud were the neg cable is, (your ignition system runs on open/closed ground--bad ground, can act like out of time). #2- More likely one or more of your primary clutch weights are bad, take the cover off and inspect. #3- bad "TCI" ignitor. unfortunatly there expensive and can't be tested, other then putting it on another car. Hope that helped alittle. I'm leaning toward the primary clutch weights.

Bought new ignitor ur right expensive,but did'nt work! Tried the ground wire thing ,still did'nt work.Hav'nt tried clutch thing yet. Thanks alot for your input
