Club Car Power Kit
I am thinking of ordering a club car power kit from CCP for my 2004 precedent. Does any one have any comments about what they noticed from putting it in their cart. Also according to my service manual it says I need some special tools, do I need to find these tools or can it be done without. Thanks!

Re: Club Car Power Kit
What are you trying to achieve from your cart ? Higher top end, torque ?
Specifics would help with an answer. Chris. |

Re: Club Car Power Kit
I think the CPP kit comes with a tool. Tom should be able to answer that.

The only tool i can think of is the clutch removal tool for the clutch on the engine.

Re: Club Car Power Kit
I just did mine a few weeks ago. Did notice a differance, but not as much as I did on my old G16. The only hard part was getting the C clip back on the clutch once I put new spring into it.

Re: Club Car Power Kit
I put one on my 92 ds anbout a month ago. I noticed a big diff, especially climbing hills. I didnt need any special tools, just patience and a friend to help.

Re: Club Car Power Kit
Thanks for all the input. I think that I am going to go ahead and put this in, I think it will help greatly when pulling a trailer on these North Carolina hills.
