1988 Marathon Dana Differential Issues
I started going through the 1988 marathon cart I purchased. I have not yet been able to get the splined rear hub off of the axle. It appears that it is a Dana differential. I found some diagrams and the axle is held in place by two retaining rings near the outside end of the axle. I assume their internal rings within the axle housing. If I could get the axle out with the hub on it I could press the axle out. So far I have just bent two pullers on the hub. Any suggestions on how to get the hub out of the way to get to the retaining rings so I can replace the seals and bearings??
