flat paint options
I am looking at painting my G22 to look like a WWII Army Jeep. So I am looking for advice on flat paint options. I don't intend to apply any clear over the olive drab paint. I am planning to stencil a big white star on the front and maybe US Army on the sides.
I have plenty of time before the paint goes down, lots of small repairs need to be made to the body panels first. Any suggestions? Thanks, Matt |

Re: flat paint options
If you plan on spraying it with a gun you could go with the flat green and then clear it but put a flattening agent in the clear. This will remove all the shine depending on how much you put in the clear. That way you get the look you want and it is still proteted. Or just go with a flat green acrylic enamel if you want to use single stage paint.
