Default charger question

Just got a Lestronic II 48 charger for my ez go workhorse. The workhorse was 48 volt before. The charger plug and the receptacle are different.
I know I will loose the key switch interlock, but will it be easier to change the pulg or the receptacle?

Thanks

Unless the mounting holes are the same, changing the receptacle might be a little tricky, so changing the plug will probably be easier.

I'm not sure what you mean by loosing the key switch interlock.

Are you going from an on-board charger to a portable type?

Yes, I am going to a portable type because the cart i have did not come with one and I got a smoking deal on this one, it is like brand new.

Other than getting the plug and receptacle to mate properly, the only issues that come to mind is the some on-board charger systems had a relay that disabled cart when on charge and the Lester charger will have to sense the battery pack voltage to turn on.

Good luck and yell if you have any problems. I'm sure there is somebody around here that has already done what you are doing.
