Default What size BB

Hey guys im having a problem on what BB i should go with, i found few 16hp briggs vtwin but i want more :) i looked on google for my answer and i found that a 18hp is better to rebuild because u can use other parts to make more HP ???? but i just found out my buddy has a 22HP vtwin

so i was wondering should i find a 18hp or buy the 22hp and rebuild it with the biggest parts to make a monster build ?

as far as parts most if not all are interchangeable from 16 to 18 to 23. 89marathon is the guy to chime in on that.

if youre still worried beyond that, theres no replacement for displacement

Is the 22hp by chance the Harbor Freight V-twin? No matter what you do definitely go with a Briggs!

I guess it depends on what you want. My 23 has a rev kit and performance cam. It does everything that I want and need it to do, and I'm sure there are smaller "built" motors that would blow my doors off. But it doesn't matter to me.

No high performance parts on mine except for the cam. Strong and reliable. I'll never use the available RPM's...

Do you by chance have a picture of this elusive 22hp Briggs V-Twin?
