Are all Yamaha d2 after 2016 Quie tech?

We are looking into buying a 2017 Yamaha drive 2. My husband says all after 2016 are Quie Tech but I am looking at different models and only see the Quie tech sticker on som even though they are all after 2016.

I have a 2019 Drive2 that is EFI but it is not a Quietec. Is a fleet model if that helps.

They are not all QuieTech. All QuieTech cars are EFI.
You could get a carbureted car up through 2019

In 2020 all cars were EFI but not all cars were QuieTech.
With the non-QuieTech cars you also lose the independent suspension. That alone is enough reason to go QuieTech.

There are a number of easy ways to identify a QuieTech car. I suppose the easiest is the sound or the sticker but I prefer to lift the seat and look at the muffler.
If it has a black plastic box for a muffler and sound deadening panels, you have a QuieTech.
