G1 little cable
Is this supposed to be super tight or just snug ? Does it really limit travel ?

All that cable does is help prevent the cradle from pulling toward the axle while under acceleration. The engine mounts are rubber and flex when under acceleration. Basically the two clutches engage and pull the engine toward the rear, that cable limits how far the rubber engine mounts flex.
