Default Test Potentiometer on 95 Metalist

What is the best test procedure to verify the accellerator pedal potentiometer is functioning properly. I know the speed controller is looking for 0-5k ohms? I'm getting 2.4 meg ohms on the black and white wires disconnected and hooked to my VOM and pressing the pedal it doesn't change. My cart really hauls the mail wide open throttle but no low variable or slower speeds. It seems all or nothing.

What part are you checking? The ITS in the pedal box / floor board?

EZGO has a tech line number that you can call and they will walk you through the test. I just had to do it last week, but can't remember the exact proceedure. The number is 1-888/438-3946, when prompted, press "2"...

I called left message at EZGO for a call back. Thanks for the info. In this forum there is an EZGO diagnostics sticky (where wiring diagrams and manuals are posted) where is a procedure for testing ITS. I was wondering if that test is the correct on for my cart?
