nope cbus ohio. can you pull the head off? simple to do, pull the 4 3/8s nuts and bolts form the head and pull it off. then you got to loosen a srew on the air sleeve around the jug, and seperate the muffler from the exhaulst pipe or pull the exhaulst from the head, which ever is easiest. then the head should slip right off. with it off we can see if the crank is ....locked up, or if the piston is seized in the head. if piston to head is the case a new upper end is around 180bucks. you already tore it down. the 180 will get you the gasket for the head to base, the head gasket and the exhaust gasket. it will also get you a new jug, or cylinder and a piston and rings.
pretty freakin simple. if its locked up in the lower end thats were it gets froggy.

Okay, lets get froggy. :). I pulled off my head and piston moves freely, so i have this same issue with something going on in the lower. I can manualy turn the engine "with good effort" to a point... Meaning i can turn it but becomes imovable at a certain point. It is like the crank shaft moves some, but not allowing full rotation. Again, it does not move freely as it used to, but i can manually turn to a degree.... Any ideas?
