Default Club Car flooding out, getting too much gas

We have a 2003 club car DS, its getting too much gas. When you take the plug out and turn it over it shoots a lot of gas out the cylinder. We put a new carb and fuel pump on it and it dose the same thing. Next we took a carb off of another (running cart) and tried it, still the same thing. We adjusted the valves, and we have 140 lb compression while turning over. Any suggestions?

Have you checked that the float needle and seat are sealing properly and stopping the fuel flow?

Also, this thread would get better results in the Gas CC section, I'm sure a mod will come along and move it.

We tried 3 different carbs and all do the same. And one of the carbs came off a cart that was running fine.

Just curious... is the engine rotating clockwise while trying to start it? (viewed from the clutch side)

Have you tried switching out the fuel pump? Also check the lines as well. Ethanol eats them from the Inside out.

If all carbs do the same, fuel punp is putting out too much pressure, overcoming the needle valve in the carbs.
