how to troublshoot hot resistor
Ok so i have a 86 club car. It is slow to get up the hills, by hills i mean the slightest incline. When i got to the top i felt for hot conections and what not. I couldnt put my hand close to the resistor closest to the passangers side of the cart with out being to hot. I am guessing this isnt good, i was explained hoe to check it but want to make sure i understood correctly.
Jack the cart up in the back hook the meter up to the large terminals on the side closet to the driver side first press the pedal and it should get voltage and then go to zero. Check them all one after another. If there is one or more that do no do this they are bad? Can i get this selinoid at a marina or auto parts store? What cables should i unhook before changing these selinoid Thanks |
