DS or Precedent for beach???
I need to put a cart together, to keep at the river. Here is the issue :
I need a lift kit on it, not extreme, just enough to get above some of the crap you run over. It will be used in the sand some, not much, so want to put some bigger nobby tires on it. Has to be 48 volt, with rear seat for kids. Cart will be driven on gravel, about 100 yards to the beach, then in sand about 100 feet. I have a 99 ds all stock, that i can try to make work, or i can also do a precedent. Which cart would be better? Lift kit nobby tires rear seat bandit motor 48 volt The ds is a 99 with v-glide , and i can add a rear seat, etc. The precedent is either a 2006, or 2010, i have both, so i can go either way. I am not a beach person, so i have no idea about an electric cart in the sand. Am looking for any suggestions? Thanks |

Re: DS or Precedent for beach???
I would go with the 99, the v glide would likely deal with the sand better than a mcor.

Re: DS or Precedent for beach???
Either one honestly, but if I had both carts, I would do up the Precedent. Newer and you'll probably have it longer.

Re: DS or Precedent for beach???
My concern is not for looks, i have never had an electric cart in the sand.
I didn't want to put a cart together for someone, and have problems with it getting stuck or something. Not doing any off roading, just going from the house to the beach. |
