Default Polishing roof supports

Anyone ever polish their aluminum roof supports? I did a small section, knocking down some of the corrosion with scotch pad then following up with a two stage polish on cotton wheel air tool. Looks nice but a helluva lotta work if I am going to do the whole thing.

Have thought of it often, but the whole "lot of work" thing keeps me from it.

You can knock down a lot of time if you have a bench top buffer. Cut then polish. It will fade pretty quick though unless you use a sealer like zoop seal. Good luck with your project and be sure to post pics!

I was thinking of spraying with a clearcoat after the polishing to keep it shining. I have a bench buffer to utilize too. This may be a winter project. Ugh, cant believe I am already planning things to do when it gets cold
