Default G2 frame rebuild

Hello,

I just inherited my dad's Yamaha G2 gas and I am planning a basic rebuild, back to stock original condition. The engine runs well mechanicals are good too. The problem is the frame has substantial corrosion and the suspension is quite worn. I am hoping to find someone who can share pics and experience of his own rebuild.

Eventually, once I have restored the frame, I will consider a suspension loft, most probably a Jakes 6 inch with 10" wheels and 20" or 22" tires.

Thanks in advance!

Why don't you start by showing some pictures of just how much frame corrosion/rot you actually have and where it's at in the frame.

I take it you have a gas cart!
