Default 2000.5 Clubcar Regen

Hi I have a 2000.5 48 volt DS clubcar that is a regen cart. Have had no luck finding what I need to gain speed. Most speed kits I have seen have (does not work on regen carts). Can someone please help find a kit that works.

Welcome to BGW Butch!
The biggest questions are... how fast do you want to go? and... How much do you want to spend?

Just a couple speed upgrade links... there are more!

Be patient... someone WILL offer their upgrade experiences with Regen CC's!

I had a 99 regen 2. I got it to 22 mph by, sending motor to plumb quick and doing my own custom grind on the speed sensor magnet. Took the solenoid on the left side completely off. 4 gauge cables. Reworked the brakes new shoes adjusted and lube the sliders.

Photo of magnet. Took it out and in quite a few times to get it right. Roll away braking works, but no regen.image.jpg

When I got close I used a file to fine tune. Note the location of thr dot.

On edit: if you don't need the roll away braking just unhook the speed sensor.
