Default Rear locker for a g9???

Anybody have any info on a locker/posi kit for the g9 rear ends? I think a guy was making or had made one before but I can't find it. Does plowman make a posi kit for the g9? I'm interested in trying to find this mod for my cart.

Never seen a posi for G2/G9. You can fire up the welder & "lincoln lock" it. I would not advise this if you do any pavement travel (unless its all in a straight line & preferred 1/4 mi at a time ).

I'd be a buyer for one also. I don't think it exists though. We need that.

I'll take a look. I know that there was someone had one made, but it was full time. Even though full time it wasn't welded though and it was strong, he was running one of the Generac engines.

The guy that posted about one was Kinion.......... All I found on it is one picture and it doesn't show much. He had a machine shop make one. I've been going to pull a G1 apart and see if I can figure out what he had made.

I actually talked to him about it but without seeing inside a rear end I wasn't sure what he was describing.

Ok, I found another place where someone made one. It's where Kinion got his idea.

The last guy hasn't been on site in over a year and a half. But I sent a pm to Kinion, he was on the other day. Maybe I can get some info. I'd love to have one of those.

I could get one made at work but brass wire is not cheap, so wireburning splines is not free lol. But I took a year to get time to make my little intake there is no way I can engineer a carrier to go in there with a limited slip. I thought plowmans or someone sold one but it didn't work right or failed so they gave up. It only had one friction plate in each side iirc, which does not work that well or wears out too fast. I would not want a locked rear, no way. Family has a utv with a solid axle its terrible and eats the tires. Its ok on trails but you can't turn in the driveway with it, or the yard, etc., it goes nuts and tears stuff up.
