Moving workhorse fenders out ....
I put 2 inch spacers on the rear of my workhorse to even up with the front. As a result it is more stable and slings mud & water everywhere I got to looking at it.... and it looked like I could move the fender out 2 inches so I did. Here is a before and after pic...I will touchup the bolt heads with black paint when I finish

Very nice!
That's using your head! I may have to do that to mine. I have the same problem with the mud and water slinging. |

Re: Moving workhorse fenders out ....
I didn't find anything in the aftermarket world for the rear... A guy could use some heavy plastic to add on to the inside which you can see is left a bit open now. But basically I used 2 inches because thats the size spacer I put on. I guess you could go three if needed? There is Still the issue with the rear skirt. It too needs a 2 inch extension on each side. I'm thinking light C channel 2x1 with a brace to the frame? Anyway that's next weekend. I put the light angle metal on the front edge just to give it some stiffness and to cover the old holes...The angle I used came from an old stand of sorts? Never throw nuthin away
And lastly...I had good help |

one more of what I was trying to accomplish...I'm sure someone could do better. Maybe even make a kit and sell it. I just use what's on hand

Sorry wife made me bath, Saturday last night ya know The dog is a red Queensland Heeler....Kind of a quiet, stick close by dog...not real social and serious about his job GP...I'm thinking about 7 inch piece of 1 x 2 C channel to fill the rear sections. Might have to buy a piece.... |
