G16 fresh rebuild knocking
Well after my rebuild of my 2000 model g16 and maybe 2 miles of easy riding(trying to break in a bit) my motor has developed a REAL loud knock? any guesses to what it is before i tear this **** thing all the way back down?? could it be the clutch or is that not a common issue with them just looking for a little info before i have to dig in again
Thanks in advance |

Re: G16 fresh rebuild knocking
Check the shift lever to make sure it's going into gear all the way and not grinding teeth in the transaxle every so often. Also check the primary clutch to make sure an arm hasn't broken from a roller. About the only things besides engine I can think of that might knock. Good luck.
