G2's didn't have a zerk fitting in the sliding sheave for greasing. If your's doesn't have one, you might want to "upgrade" to the newere style that has one. Makes greasing the secondary a breeze.

I think I saw that new upgrade one online somewhere. Is that one with different type of shoes on it?

The newer sliding sheave has a zirk, and the new style helix/spring seat has screwed in ramps.
