Re: Oil light on - Need Part Number
Here is a pic of my G14 block. The oil sensor bolts in right next to the drain plug.In fact I haven't tossed the old oil sensor so here are some pics of it also

Re: Oil light on - Need Part Number
It doesn't come out like that on a G16. I can only assume that the G29 is similar. The G16 engine has to come out and be disassembled to get to the sensor.

Re: Oil light on - Need Part Number
Yeah I see on the G16 they mount it internally on the front cover. That sure makes it a no fun job.Sorry I thought you also under the impression the G8 was internal access too.

Yes you can just unplug it. Just be sure to check the oil often.

Is part number for the oil level gauge assembly for the ydra. If you go to most cart dealer web pages you can do search for oem parts that also show you the diagrams. I go to my local place's site midohiogolfcar.com |

Re: Oil light on - Need Part Number
its inside the engine, crankcase side cover & clutch must be removed. with some care & caution it can be done in the cart without engine removal (drive has no "belly pan", easier). be sure to get a new side cover gasket, Do Not reuse the original one, it will be a problem. get & keep everything very clean during the job.

Re: Oil light on - Need Part Number
A G29 with a bad sensor already? I doubt it. Its a simple sensor. Id guess the oil hasn't been changed on a regular basis. Motor is super easy to pull out of that cart. Pull motor, take said case off and look at it. I bet it doesn't need to be replaced.
