Default Mounting 2012 precedent voltage reducer.

First, I'm sorry I'm sure if I could get the search function to work on my phone I could find help with this.
I just picked up a 2012 48v precedent and a madjax Voltage with a fuse block. Now my only question is where the Heck do I mount these things???

Front cowl supports just behind the front shocks. If you look from under the front end looking back at the cart, you'll see right behind the shocks there will be a flat plate of steel and that is were Club Car mounts them. Just make sure we're ever you decide make sure air can move around it, they can get warm.

The MadJax reducer is rather big and bulky. That's why I prefer the factory style reducer. Same output, just a little more costly but it's worth it when you try and mount it on a Precedent. I've mounted the MadJax reducers in the location NSane is describing, but there's no way to get to it to drill the correct mounting holes unless you take the entire front suspension off the cart. I ended up mounting it to a plate and threading holes in the plate that matched the factory mounting holes. I then counter-sunk the mounting holes and threaded four counter sink screws into the plate which allowed me to keep a flat mounting surface for the reducer. After that, I installed four more counter sink screws on the other side of the plate to hold the reducer onto the plate, also maintaining a flat surface. Once the reducer was mounted to the plate and tightened, I inserted the plate and reducer into the small cavity from underneath and put the four studs through the factory mounting holes and secured the entire assembly with lock-nuts.

You can go factory spot or on the inside of each wheel well to the metal plates high up. They are water resistant, just make sure to use good butt connectors and you will be fine.

Awesome, thanks for the pics. Now it's time to get wiring. For the fuse block is there room inside the dash somewhere?
