Default 08 club car precedent

My 08 club car precedent after driving around our park with the wife for about 20 to 30 minutes it just stopped running. Then after sitting for 2 to 3 minutes it is all back to normal. batteries are 4 12 volt about a year old. it has happen twice this week. could it be because of driving at a slow speed? We just take a drive around our retirement park in the evening.

To me, sounds like a solenoid or relay? Then it stops, does it make any clicking noises like the solenoid?

Driving at a slow speed generates heat. When the controller reaches 80 degrees Celsius it will shut down until it cools off. This is called THERMAL CUTBACK. It's a safety feature designed to prevent further damage. Are your electrical components behind the battery compartment or do you have a divided in between your batteries with a plastic cover? Vehicle serial number will help as well.
