Default Drive belt adjustment??

After reading through other posts, Ive developed a question about wether or not there is an adjustment needed after replacing the clutch belt. I don’t think I’m having any issues, but if something could be better I’d certainly like to make it that way.
It’s a 92 DS

Measure the center to center distance between the clutches. It should be 9-5/8". If it needs adjustment loosen the 4 bolts that hold the engine to the cradle and move the engine forward or back to adjust.

Too far apart, the belt will be to tight and will be difficult to install. It will also drag on the drive clutch and can cause erratic clutch operation.

Too close together, belt will be to loose and can shudder during initial engagement or takeoff. A loose belt can slip badly during clutch transition such as when trying to go up hill, or if the clutches get wet that can cause the belt to slip and/or shudder.

Clutch operation will be affected by a loose belt, overall top speed will be lower, and the cart will have less torque when climbing hills because the belt will ride higher in the primary clutch.
