Default exhuast question

hey has anyone mess around with exhaust ,what i mean i have a good running 244cc engine but was wondering if i could stick more pipes on it to make it a fake dual exhaust, i would remove the stock muffler, and just use the pipes... just wondering

thank you

2 strokes are kinda tuned to the exhaust so they pull in the proper amount of fuel mixture. maybe a lot of trail an error to get it right.

how do we know if we are getting the right mixture ? Is it a matter of looking at the spark plug color?

It's a little more complicated than that, 2 strokes have an expansion chamber that creates a back presser wave that stops the exhaust system from scavenging the fuel mix out of the cylinder. I guess you could probable tell somewhat from the plug or try whatever and see if it runs good. most people tend not to modify 2 stroke exhaust because it's a crucial part on the combustion process
