Upgrade 93 Yamaha G8 Power System, Switch Needed
New owner of a 1993 G8 Electric. Have recommendations to go with 400a Alltrax Controller and HD Solenoid, but need help locating proper option for upgrading FNR Switch. Talked to Alltrax and they recommended something like Dual Contacting Solenoid???
Would like to do it right the first time so if anyone has recommendations I would appreciate it. Not trying to go crazy on upgrade, just want more speed/power to support lift and bigger tires. Also, currently running 6v Trojans. I’ll upgrade all wiring myself with custom made wires (my specialty). |

They're taking about a reversing contactor setup. You can get them from cartsunlimited.net and it's well worth doing.
