Default Mystery Harness (2) 2015 Yamaha G29 Drive

I bought this cart used and it has a mad jax light kit (tail lights and headlights) but there are two harnesses that are hanging out in my battery compartment that look like they are oem. Any idea what these might be for?

The triangular one looks to be the speed sensor ( other end should be coming off the rear trans axle from the motor )
The other one I think is what I would call a diagnostic port for dealers

Correct on both counts.

Thanks, is there a reason the speed sensor should be unplugged? I don't see a matching plug anywhere in the general vicinity.

The corresponding plug would be on the end of the electric motor.

Thanks, I plugged it in and the top speed remained the same but the accelerator has much better sensitivity now instead of being an "all or nothing" response.
