G2/G9 Aftermarket Exhaust
I was wondering if anybody had an aftermarket exhaust on their G2\G9, and what they thought about it (sound, performance)?
I'm considering getting the Plowman's exhaust for my G2 and was curious if anyone here had any experience with it. Thanks! |

Re: G2/G9 Aftermarket Exhaust
Like Ive said before I have the G16 pipe and its very nice. Have you considered getting a dirt bike exhaust and just bending it to work? That may be louder than what you want...

Re: G2/G9 Aftermarket Exhaust
Yeah, thanks Y4L. I appreciate the info on the G16 and the difference with the G2 pipe. That's why I started a new thread to see if anyone actually had experience with the G2/G9 version (or some other type\brand).
I think a dirt bike exhaust would be louder than I'm looking for. I've talked to Don about his exhaust and I'm interested, just looking for some perspective from a third party that's all. Thanks! |

Re: G2/G9 Aftermarket Exhaust
When I had the stock engine in my G9, I modified the muffler. Removed some
of the baffles and installed a new tail pipe. Sounded pretty good, not too loud. Sorry I have no experience with the Plowman’s muffler. |

Re: G2/G9 Aftermarket Exhaust
If i removed some baffles out of my g1's muffler would it still have enough backpressure to run?

Re: G2/G9 Aftermarket Exhaust
I wouldn't do it with a 2 stroke. Backpressure is much more critical on a 2 stroke engine.
