Here are some pics,Sorry bout the dirt,i'm in the middle of cleaning it up.Forgot to add earlier,offset the hole to one side of the shackle to give it room to swing at the top or it will bind against the frame.

This is a G8, not 9. But maybe there is something here you may find useful. I did what Pachanga did. Lift is 6" I dropped the front down about 3" Used a 1/2" heim joint.
