Re: OBC Replacement timer for Timerless Lester Charger
Seems like it's turning out that this is made & distributed by Nivel Parts & Mfg, in FL (1-800-959-0852). I don't know why they're so shy of putting any contact or troubleshooting info on their enclosed paperwork. Currently I am awaiting a callback from their customer service department. I was already told that "normally" such claims must go through the device's seller, but when that's a nonresponsive ebay seller, as in my case, I'm making the case that the mfr should handle it directly - I can give them any needed proof-of-purchase, serial, etc, just as the seller would have if they were being responsible. At least Nivel already said it "should be" covered for a year, but have not yet told me they'll be glad to replace it...

Re: OBC Replacement timer for Timerless Lester Charger
Well here I am back six years later. New set of batteries in September 2014. Gave up on old Lester chargers and bought a smart charger (don't remember brand) it died about a year ago. Bought a Save a Battery 48 V model an been happy since then. Even bought one for each piece of equipment I have including a 24v model. Well the cart stopped on way back to shed last week and finally figured out that yellow wire to solenoid was dead so installed negative jumper and all was well. So this morning I took time to tidy up the wiring and did away with obc, rewired 24v LED bar, and wired in the save a battery direct instead of clamps. Removing obc completely and installing 48 to 24 volt reducer next weekend. Just catching up!
