G1 Help!!!
 i have a 1981 g1 i think it needs crank seal but not sure how to put the new seal in. I was wondering if the case had to be split to put a new seal in the cart only runs at an idol but it has to be wide open to run at an idol and sometimes it will start to crank up then dogg back down to an idol i can see some leaking oil on the cluch side of the motor.Im going to get the seal and new piston and ring anyone know where the best place to order the parts will be helpfull im kinda new at this but i have rebuilt 2 cycle dirt bikes before. thank you all for your help. |

Just rebuilt mine last fall. Bought all parts from florida...lvs sales i believe. I did split the case on mine, but i replaced bearings also. I believe if you just do the seals you don t have to. The biggest problem is pulling clutch. Got to buy an expensive puller. Good luck!
