Default 1990 marathon

i have a 1990 marathon with a 3pg motor in it my ? is where is the governor spring located at? the only spring i can find at all anywhere by the carb is one that the throtel cable runs through!

the governor spring should be under the governor belcrank arm. If you are looking to adjust the cart to speed up then you need to tighten the bolt at the end of the throttle cable that hooks to the governor. If I recall the factory setting is 7/16" of space between the nuts and the spring. Hope this helps!!

on a 3pg it's on the diff.

in madoc1 photo above is it the long spring that the throttle cable duns through or is it the one that attaches to the pig? sorry about all the? just want to be sure!

it is apparatus that is mounted on the diff. as the cart speeds up the shaft on that which does into the diff. will try to restrict the throttle. it is the only spring on top of the. differential/rear end. the only spring in the picture.

I have a 1990 ez-go gulf cart. I wired it like the digram and all I get is it clicking an nothing else. What can be the problem? I changed the little micro switchs to.
